“It’s harvest time,” Pastor Chris says, as global audience watches highlights of inspiring March crusades.
The April 2019 Global Communion Service with Pastor Chris was replete with moments of praise and thanksgiving to God in songs and prayers. LMAM artistes, Martin PK, Cliff M, Farlon Lyte and more put songs on the lips of the LIVE audience and the global congregants in various viewing centers, with which they expressed gratitude to God for the month of possessions.
Senior ministers, Reverend Tom Amenkhienan, Pastor Yemisi Kudehinbu and Pastor Femi Otenigbagbe joined the LoveWorld President on the Communion Service studio set, to answer questions from participants around the world. One of such questions was concerning the relationship between technology, whether it is to be avoided or encouraged. “[Science and technology] is man’s discovery in God’s world,” Pastor Chris said, emphasizing that science and technology do not oppose the Word of God when they enhance the lives of human beings. “You can tell that [some technology] was made against God when it is created to destroy man,” he went on to say.
After the inspiring Q&A segment, the global audience watched stirring highlights from Christ Embassy Lagos Zone 5’s ‘6 Days of Glory’ with Pastor Chris. In an excerpt of the man of God’s teachings during the program, he expounded on Ephesians 1:13-14, declaring that the Christian has been sealed with the Holy Spirit. “When you are sealed, it means no matter what’s happening in this world, it should not affect you,” Pastor Chris said
Video highlights of inspiring crusades — gatherings of tens of thousands — held by Christ Embassy Pastors throughout the world were aired next. “It’s harvest time,” Pastor Chris said as the programs from Soweto, Benin city, Abuja, Lagos and several other cities were played for congregants to see. As the clip was concluded, Pastor Chris charged the congregation to “get serious about the Gospel,” saying “when God gives you an opportunity, seize it; that opportunity may not always be there.”
“[Direction] means guidance, focus, instruction and course (the course in which you should go),” Pastor Chris told the excited congregation. The man of God implanted in the hearts of every participant the expectation of God’s special and divine guidance in this month. Giving an example of such impactful direction, Pastor Chris called to memory Moses’ encounter with the Lord at the burning bush, a meeting that transformed his life and gave him the direction for the next 40 years of his course on earth.
