Pastor Chris and Pastor Benny visit Israel together for the first time, on a tour.
Earlier this month, during the global phenomenon and telethon, 'Your LoveWorld', Pastor Benny Hinn announced that he and the BLW President, Reverend (Dr.) Chris Oyakhilome, would be visiting the Holy Land, Israel.
Global congregation plugs into first LIVE service with Pastor Chris from the Holy City of Jerusalem.
2017 — 'the Year of Flourishing' — has been a season of many extraordinary firsts, including the first Global Communion Service to be beamed LIVE from the Holy City of Jerusalem in Israel. The man of God, Reverend (Dr.) Chris Oyakhilome, ministered a few hours ago to thousands of congregations around the world with a program rich in inspirations of the Spirit.
The highlights of the International Pastors' and Partners' Conference, the LoveWorld International Music and Arts Awards and other programs were more than a reminiscing; they inspired faith, hope and love for the Master in every participant around the world. As we listened to prophetic utterances released during the IPPC 2017, we were inspired to worship, and the music ministers, Evangelist Kathy, Sinach and Martin PK were on set to lead the brethren in just that.
Pastor Chris, dressed in the fulness of the blessings of the Spirit, released blessings on participants around the world. In the company of the esteemed Pastor Karen and the Pastor of 'You Church', Pastor Jella Wojacek, he also brought answers to the questions of many. It was indeed a capstone Communion Service, marking a new beginning that the BLW Nation has stepped into.
Pastor Chris discusses relevance of New Testament sacraments — baptism and Communion — to new creation.
The wisdom of God revealed through the scriptures during the Question and Answer segments of Global Communion Services with Pastor Chris has liberated many believers into greater effectiveness through knowledge (Hosea 4:6). That same wisdom was on display during the December Global Communion Service as Pastor Chris proffered answers to the arguments that had plagued some believers around the world.
One of the infallible proofs provided through scripture for the relevance of the water baptism was the account in Acts 8:35-38 of the water baptism of the Ethiopian Eunuch after he received Christ through Philip, the evangelist. This and other scriptures, including 1 Corinthians 1:13-14, show the necessity for physical water baptism, even after the spiritual immersion into the body of Christ, carried out by the Holy Spirit.
In response to the inquiry on the Holy Communion, Pastor Chris read 1 Corinthians 11:26, the words of Jesus to Paul, the Apostle: "For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes." This and several other scriptures, including Acts Chapter 2, Verses 42 and 46, emphatically declare that the Holy Communion is to continue frequently till the Lord's return.
“Spread the blessings of God,” Pastor Chris instructs as he announces prophetic word for December 2017.
The last Global Communion Service in the Year of Flourishing was one to remember, exceeding all expectations, as the BLW President, Reverend (Dr.) Chris Oyakhilome, called saints around the world to blessing-consciousness in a month declared to be that of benedictions.
A benediction, Pastor Chris explained, "is a prayer of blessing, usually not for yourself but for others." This, he said, after reading several examples of benedictions released by the Apostle Paul unto saints in Thessalonica, Ephesus and Galatia, including the popular blessings declared on the Corinthian church: "The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen."
"Fill your life with words of blessing, which you pour on others," Pastor Chris admonished the global audience, referencing the month of October in which we were conscious of receiving blessings, but now instructing us to "give blessings!" Brethren around the world received the word with excitement ready to spread the blessings of God throughout the earth.
What does 'the Month of Benedictions' mean to you? Where will you declare God's blessings of peace, grace, hope and more in this special Christmas season?
